Imagine being able to train yourself like a professional exercise expert would. Professional trainers are experts in seeing what we don’t see ourselves, and use their knowledge and experience to tailor exercises taking injuries and individual needs into account. They help you to achieve far more effective results and reach the finish line injury-free.

At this workshop you will learn to sharpen your training eyes with the eyes of the best experts. The purpose is to make you better able to train yourself correctly when you are alone without access to a training expert. You get the tools to see and correct imbalances in your body, etc. to avoid minor and major injuries, improve technique, optimize your performance within your sport and generally strengthen your body’s functionality.

Audience

The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to train themselves more effectively or who finds that their training is interrupted or prevented by minor injuries.

It is less important if you are starting from scratch or have trained for many years and now want to optimize your knowledge in theory and practice. If you play sports at an exercise level but are plagued by minor injuries, this is also a good opportunity to learn how to train correctly in order to avoid these possibly recurring defects.

Who are we ?

The workshop was designed by two professional training experts with more than 40 years of combined experience: Physiotherapist Frederik Rasmus and Sports Physiologist Valeria Lima.

STEP 1

BORROW THE EYES OF AN EXERCISE EXPERT

The best trainers use their expert knowledge and professional experience to “scan” the body for weaknesses, strengths and potential for improvement.

STEP 2

LEARN TO TEST YOUR BODY

What do the best training experts look for when they ‘scan’ the body, and how do they use their knowledge? Learn to evaluate your own body through functional screening.

STEP 3

EXERCISE CORRECTLY

Through teaching, exercises and examples, the workshop offers a small toolbox to see and correct oneself – and thereby make the next many training hours far more effective and with less risk of injury

STEP 4

OPTIMIZE YOUR KNOWLEDGE IN THEORY AND PRACTICE

Understand the connection between the different parts of the body, before you attack with an exercise or a tailored plan.

STEP 5

OPTIMIZE MOVEMENT

Understand why some movements are “necessary” to be able to perform in order to train correctly and move optimally.

STEP 6

EXERCISE FROM HEAD TO TOE

We will go through almost every joint and muscle in your body – from neck to rib training (breathing work), shoulders, hips, knees and footwork.
